Since 2004, the Agusta A 109 has made it possible to repair power lines from the air. While sitting on specially developed platforms, technicians use repair coils to do the necessary work. This method has been certified by the European Aviation Authority and approved by the relevant professional association.
Rotorflug conducts supervision flights at pipelines and power lines for numerous energy supply companies. With the visual control it is ensured that irregularities are determined early enough.
Unknown or not permitted constructions in the path of gas and/or oil pipelines are a potential danger and can be monitored by regular supervision flights. The use of technical equipment like video and/or UV-cameras is also possible. We also conduct scanning flights and digitize the area scanned for use in cartographic tasks.
